Mission M108 Update
More Mission M108s joining the fleet
On the 14th July, Mission M108 s/n 005, G-STUZ received its full permit to fly following
the successful completion of the flight test programme carried out in June. G-STUZ was built by
Stu Blanchard under the Factory Build Assist Programme, which includes, as part of the package,
flight testing to LAA requirements carried out by the factory test pilot.
The flight test programme went extremely well. G-STUZ performed flawlessly throughout.
Filip Lambert, who conducted the flights, said, “from the first flight G-STUZ flew so well that
it hardly felt like flight testing. The initial settings were so close that only very minor
adjustments between flights were necessary. It is proof of the high consistency and quality in
the build that is achieved with the Factory Build Assist Programme.”

On 25th and 26th July, Stu was back at the Wevelgem based factory for the two
days familiarization training in his Mission M108, which is also included of the Build Assist Programme.
The familiarization training is tailored to the individual needs of the customer and is the best, and
quickest way to become a proficient pilot on the Mission M108. Topics covered include: general handling,
flight manoeuvres, stalls, landings, standard procedures, emergency procedures, transition to state of
the art technology of the glass cockpit and the Rotax 912iS. After all, can you think of anything better
than an opportunity to practice in your shiny new Mission M108 with an experienced factory pilot who
knows your aircraft inside and out?

Remember, the Mission M108, when constructed via the Factory Build Assist Programme is
the ONLY kit built aircraft that is offered with a 2 year warranty.
Adding to the cheer, our new company demonstrator G-XIFR also received its full permit to fly on the
same day as G-STUZ. This marked LAA approval of over a dozen new factory designed and supported
options for the Mission M108, such as the Garmin G3X avionics suite with IFR certified GPS,
Garmin Mode S & ADS-B transponder, Garmin wireless connectivity, an additional alternator providing
up to 40 Amps, heated-regulated pitot tube, collision warning system, interior and exterior lighting,
VHF nav/com, remote DME, Stormscope and several more.
