First flight for Mission M108 G-XIFR

On Friday evening 28 August, a brand new Mission M108, G-XIFR, made its first flight from Kortrijk-Wevelgem airfield (EBKT). Ending with a smooth landing, the flight went entirely as expected.
G-XIFR features our latest developments such as a redesigned pitot-static system and differential ailerons, eliminating adverse yaw. In addition, G-XIFR is equipped with an Airframe Parachute System and most of the options available for the Mission M108.
The team continued flight testing through the weekend. By Sunday evening, the flight log already showed 6 flights and just over 4 hours. If the weather allows us to continue flight testing in the coming days, we are on track to show G-XIFR at the LAA Rally.

G-STUZ, the fourth Mission M108 on the UK register (and incidentally the 22nd two seat aircraft produced by Lambert Aircraft Engineering) has been signed off by LAA inspector Finbar Colson, and will embark on its maiden flight soon. Congratulations are due to Stuart Blanchard for his exceptional commitment to the project and for adding another fine example of the Mission M108 to the UK fleet.
 

Demo flights at Aero Expo

The Mission M108 will be exhibited at the LAA Rally, Sywell next weekend. Also, if weather and air traffic permit, we will be offering demo flights after show hours on Friday 4 September and Saturday 5 September.
