Mission M108 flight testing completed

This week we welcomed Dan Griffith, LAA Chief Test Pilot, back to the Lambert Factory to complete the flight test programme. We are extremely grateful to Dan for his enthusiastic and professional approach to this task. His extensive experience and military background meant that G-STPK was in safe hands.
This was the second phase of the flight test programme and focused on performance and handling qualities through the entire speed, weight and CG range. The rigour and thoroughness of the flight test programme showed that the M108 is well placed to take advantage of proposed changes to the regulations that restrict the circumstances under which homebuilt category aircraft may be used. We hope to make further exciting announcements in the coming months
Final reports are now being prepared for LAA Engineering department and G-STPK is expected to receive its full Permit to Fly shortly.
 

Production

The Mission M108 kits are produced entirely at Lambert Aircraft Engineering in Belgium. State of the art jigs and toolings enable production of high quality parts and assemblies. Quality control procedures are in place to ensure that all components meet their specifications.
Over the Summer, our workshop has been ramping up production to have a stock of Mission M108 production parts, which is important to keep lead times on M108 kits down to a minimum. Remember, if you choose to assemble your Mission M108 via the factory build assist scheme, it will come with a 2 year warranty.
Place an order now and you could be flying your own Mission M108 sooner than you think!

LAA Rally 2014
